New eatery, familiar owners: Mexican brunch-style diner to open in Ashland
ASHLAND Construction is under way at the location of a new eatery coming to the area with hopes of opening its doors by early 2025.
Jennifer Nunez, the daughter of Misael Nunez — who will own the business, and is one of the three brothers who co-own “Tres Hermanos Nunez” — said the family is eyeing to bring another option to area individuals looking for morning food at various times. The establishment will be called “Good Guevos,” according to Nunez.
“We feel as if the dining options for breakfast and brunch are limited and we would like to bring something new to the area,” she said.
“We all like to travel and like the experience part of the trip. Sometimes coming here we are limited in options as to where we can go eat. We are hoping to bring a new experience to Ashland,” Nunez added.
The business’s hours of operation are still being determined and a projected date to open depends on a few factors.
“If possible, the end of 2024,” she said. “It just depends how things work out for us on the structuring side of it.”
Good Guevos will be located next to Arby’s on Winchester Avenue.
Tres Hermanos Nunez, meanwhile, just completed the remodel of its U.S. 60 location in Boyd County.
