Apr. 5—OSAGE, Iowa. — After a successful event last year, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage is offering an Ecumenical Spring Sing that will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, at Sacred Heart.

Funds raised through a free-will offering will be donated to the Mitchell County Food Bank.

The Ecumenical Spring Sing will promote fellowship and community outreach through a musical celebration of enjoyment and inspiration.

Musicians from churches across Mitchell County are invited to share their talents. Choirs, small groups, and solo performers are all welcomed. Performances do not have to be "perfect." Emphasis will be on an inspirational afternoon of fellowship and fun. As an added bonus, all groups will come together at the conclusion of the afternoon to sing "God Be With Us Till We Meet Again." Refreshments will be served following the event.

Those interested in performing may offer a range of music, from contemporary, gospel, and Christian rock, to blue grass or even polka tunes. To join the event and for more information, contact: Director of Music Marilyn Coonradt of Sacred Heart Catholic Church; 507-421-8854; or email, [email protected]

Sacred Heart Catholic Church is located at 1204 State St. in Osage.
