When we want a hot, carb-filled breakfast, Kellogg’s Eggo comes to the rescue with its waffles. The homestyle and blueberry varieties are classics, but the brand has surprised us with a new flavor that sounds like it’s more of a dessert.

The new Eggo Thick & Fluffy Salted Caramel waffles have begun rolling out in the freezer aisle. According to the description, the Belgian-style waffles are made with caramel flavor and a hint of sea salt. If we learned anything from Milky Way’s Salted Caramel candy bar and Pillsbury’s Salted Caramel Apple cookie dough, it’s that there isn’t much that salted caramel doesn’t taste good in.

These Eggo waffles are so new that they’re not yet listed on its website. However, the box of six waffles is listed on Instacart, and indicates that they’re available at Stop & Shop, Giant, Shoppers, Shaw’s, Graul’s Market, Shop ‘n Save, Shoppers Value Foods, Jubilee Foods, and Grove City County Market. Since you can get Eggo products in pretty much every major retailer and grocery store, we’re betting it’s just a matter of time before it lands everywhere.

Waffles are typically a breakfast food, but even Eggo agrees that they (especially their Salted Caramel variety) can be used for a sweet dessert. “Whip up some tasty ice cream sandwiches; they’re sure to please the whole family,” the description says. That’s all the convincing we need!

Once you find the Eggo Salted Caramel waffles and (inevitably) fall in love with them, you won’t have to worry about them disappearing, because there’s no indication that they’re limited-edition. Caramel for breakfast is officially a thing for the long-haul.
