Who Was Eliminated in 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 16 Episode 5?

After last week's frustrating episode, comprised of a spectacularly unfunny SNL-themed challenge, a historically inaccurate Cher runway, and plenty of wonky judging, sent a sobbing Mirage out the door, RuPaul's Drag Race is back on track in Episode 5. A Drag Race staple, the girl group challenge, returned with the remaining 12 queens split up into three groups and tasked with writing verses and performing them (with full choreo) on the main stage. And without sewing or comedy involved, it was time for the drag queens to finally exhibit their performance skills.

Plus, we got pussycat wigs on the runway, Icona Pop as guest judges and a mini-challenge promoting RuPaul's new memoir.

Here's everything that wend down on Season 16 Episode 5:

Amanda Tori Meating

We always knew that Amanda's time was coming, I just wasn't expecting the former Kinky Boots star to be ousted in a singing and dancing challenge. That being said, this season has now sent home three queens in "perfect storm" environments, while perhaps lesser overall threats skate by.

As luck would have it, Amanda found herself on a team with previous challenge winners Plasma and Plane Jane and Xunami Muse. When their team fell to the bottom, Amanda's weak (and slightly confusing) birds nest runway look (not to mention a round of "Who should go home and why?") earned her a place in the bottom two with Q. Q, who has been in the top every week prior to this one, was never going to be eliminated and turned out a solid enough lip sync to earn her keep, 86ing Amanda

Geneva Karr, Mhi'ya Iman LePaige, Nymphia Wind and Megami

As Ru occasionally likes to do, he awarded the win this week to the entire "A.S.M.R. Lover" team, doling out wins to the four queens for their exceptional performance. While Geneva and Mhi'ya have consistently been in the bottom, both are known for their dancing, so it shouldn't have been shocking that they turned this challenge out. As Sapphira Cristal noted, Nymphia is good at plenty of things she isn't telling everyone about (including choreography apparently), and Megami was a bit along for the ride.

Which queens have immunity?

Sapphira Cristal and Plane Jane secured immunity during the season's premiere and for the third week in a row they have both felt safe enough pre-critiques not to use the immunity.
