Elisabeth Moss Lands Lead Role in ‘A Letter from Rosemary Kennedy’

Elisabeth Moss is putting her Handmaid’s Tale wings aside for an all-new film based on a little-known member of the Kennedy family.

Moss will produce and star as the title character in the upcoming feature film, A Letter from Rosemary Kennedy, according to Variety. The movie will tell the story of John F. Kennedy’s oldest sister, Rosemary, who spent most of her life hiding from the public eye in convents and sanitariums at the request of her father, Joseph.

In addition to Moss, A Letter from Rosemary Kennedy will be produced by Jason Michael Berman (Little Evil),  Kevin Turen (The Birth of a Nation), Richard Arlook (It Had to Be You), Allard Cantor (1BR) and Jarrod Murray (Prison Break). Ritesh Batra (The Lunchbox) will direct the film.

We have no doubt Offred would be proud.
