Elizabeth Hurley Makes Surprising Comment About Filming Intimate Scenes Directed by Son

Elizabeth Hurley didn't have any problems acting out the steamy scenes in Strictly Confidential, the upcoming R-rated flick written and directed by her son Damian Hurley.

During a recent conversation with Access Hollywood's Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover, the celebrity mother-son duo actually weren't discussing what it was like to work on the movie together when it came up.

Instead, the 58-year-old actress was busy gushing over her son's eye for something else–bikini shots. As The Royals alum revealed her 21-year-old is responsible for most of the candid bikini photos she's posted online.

"People find this really controversial," Damian interjected, explaining how show business is just a part of their normal, every day life. "She takes my photos, I take her photos."

His mom appeared to agree with the sentiment, chiming in to say she's very comfortable having him behind the camera.

"It's relaxing knowing someone is behind the camera who looks out for you," she said of posing for her son. "Which was the same on this movie in a way."

"Because the things in his script needed me to do in this weren't necessarily things I'd always done in movies many times before. But having him there meant that I felt safe and looked after and I knew in the production, in the post, I knew he'd look after me. So actually it's kind of liberating to work with your family. I may do it again."

"We kind of felt in our comfort zone, it's very strange," Damian added of directing his mom.

Strictly Confidential releases in theaters and on digital April 5.
