Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness spoilers follow.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness star Elizabeth Olsen has responded to rumours regarding the possibility of a Scarlet Witch solo movie.
In the second Doctor Strange installment, the actress took on the role of villain, destroying anything that got in the way of her pursuit of America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) so she could absorb her powers and reunite with her children.
Although the sorceress took centre stage in the Disney+ series WandaVision, fans having been calling for a solo Scarlet Witch movie for years, with rumours of the possibility sparking after her villain debut in MoM.

In a recent appearance on Good Morning America, Olsen responded to the rumors as well as those suggesting she will make an appearance in upcoming WandaVision spinoff Agatha: House of Harkness.
"I would love to be a part of both of those," she replied. "No one tells me anything, and I'm not even hiding a secret because I'm bad at that. I know nothing about my future."
So although there seems to be no plans right now, it sounds like Olsen would be more than up for the opportunity if it were to come around.

The actress opened up about the character returning to the MCU at all last month, considering Doctor Strange ended with Wanda destroying Mount Wundagore before becoming buried beneath the rubble and all.
"It's weird that I'm expecting to return but no one's told me I'm doing anything! But in my mind, I'm just making the assumption that they'll have me again," she shared.
"I don't know to what capacity, but I hope I'm back. I hope there's also more fun to be had in something different. Where do we go? I feel like we've done so much with her. It's been really a wild couple years with her."
