Emily Ratajkowski Pairs Oversized Men's Loafers With Black Mini Skirt for NYC Outing
Forget dad jeans and oversized shirts, it's massive men's loafers that are now en vogue.
On August 17, Emily Ratajkowski proved this to be true during a casual, albeit fashionable, outing in New York City. The American model, 32, was photographed going for a stroll in the Big Apple in a head-scratching ensemble that only someone as fashionable as Ratajkowski could pull off.
Ratajkowski, who is called EmRata by her loyal fans, made the city sidewalk her runway, as she rocked a burnt orange tank top and a black mini skirt. The Gone Girl actress left her auburn locks down and parted in the middle, further proving that this getup was a casual day look.
Now for the outfit's odd accessory: brown loafers that appeared to engulf her feet. We're sure it won't take long for oversized loafers to become a staple this fall.
She also rounded out the look with additional accessories, including small tortoise shell-print sunglasses, tiny gold hoops, a white tote bag, and a delicious cup of iced coffee.
As for who inspires the It girl? EmRata previously told Life and Style that Princess Diana was her biggest inspiration.
"Kinda going ‘80s. That’s my go to. Trying to be Princess Diana at every turn," she told the outlet in 2019. "I love a bodysuit with jeans obviously and a blazer is always the best — the most comfortable."
Well, she certainly does look comfortable in this latest streetwear look.
The I Feel Pretty star added at the time, "I think women just undervalue the simplicity of a good staple like that."
