Emma Stone Wore a Louis Vuitton Gown to the Oscars That's Making Everybody Hungry for Breakfast
Emma Stone capped off her award season run for The Favourite at tonight's Oscars, saving one of her most striking outfits for last. Stone wore honeycomb-esque gold and brown gown to the Academy Awards from Louis Vuitton. She walked the carpet solo.
Twitter users immediately started comparing it to different foods, namely toast, bacon, and waffles.
Emma Stone's dress looks like a waffle. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. #Oscars

Stone's film The Favourite has a handful of nominations tonight, including one for Best Picture. And Stone herself has an individual nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
Stone was last at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, where she wore a Louis Vuitton asymmetrical jumpsuit. The top was golden and embellished with a giant bow while the pants were black:
Stone's boyfriend, SNL director Dave McCary, also made his first appearance with her at an event during the show. They were photographed with Bradley Cooper:
Prior to that, Stone attended the Golden Globes wearing a pale pink and silver gown by Louis Vuitton:
Stone skipped out on the BAFTA Awards two weeks ago and the Critics' Choice Awards.
But Stone has a long history of attending the Oscars, especially in recent years. Stone made headlines last year for forgoing a dress and wearing a red blazer and black pants to the award show:
She wore a black, silver, and yellow mini dress to the Vanity Fair after party:
And in 2017, Stone won her Best Actress Oscar for her work in La La Land. Stone went full old Hollywood with that look, wearing a gold dress with an embroidered top and fringe skirt. Her hair was styled in waves:
