From the Bride-to-be... Our story started in November of 2014, though the beginnings of our friendship started long before. James and I grew up together, with our parents being best friends and college roommates. Never in a million years would we have thought our friendship would turn into anything more. When James told me he had a crush on me three years ago, it's safe to say I was completely surprised and very flattered. Our relationship started off with a year and a half of long distance. It wasn't easy starting a relationship apart from each other, but looking back, all the FaceTime calls, letters written, and packages sent... it's a time we'll always cherish. James proposed to me at my favorite beach and surprised me with a wonderful celebration at a beach house with family and friends, a night we'll always remember. We are so thankful to have found Marlene and John Koman and couldn't be more thrilled to have them as our wedding photographers. Not only are they the sweetest couple, their work is lovely, elegant, and perfectly captured this special season in our life. Our photoshoot was done at the charming Kestrel Park estate and both James and I were so excited to see how beautifully the photos turned out. The Komans did an absolutely wonderful job and we can't wait to look back at our photos for years to come.
