You Can Enter to Win Week-Long Stay in Hagrid’s Hut For Just $1
One of the most iconic structures to grace the magical world of Harry Potter is Hagrid's Hut—no questions asked. Located on the enormous, magical grounds of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Hagrid's Hut has been a key location in pivotal scenes of the series. Now, Potterheads and muggles alike can actually stay at the famous groundskeeper's cottage themselves for an entire week for just $1.
So, how does this work? The Grounds Keepers Cottage (aka Hagrid's Hut) is holding a competition for the exclusive—and cheap!—week-long stay for up to six people (max four adults). To enter, all you need to do is head to the Grounds Keeper Cottage website and pay the $1 entry fee to get your chance at winning.
If you win, you'll be able to stay in the cottage from December 22 to December 29—what better way to celebrate the holidays then by living out your Hogwarts dreams? Here's everything that's included with your stay: You'll get a warm north shire welcome, a magical Christmas hamper, a meeting with Hedwig the snowy owl, an afternoon tea with Harry Potter himself, a steam train ride at the Harry Potter Station in Goathland, and presents delivered by Santa.
If you're not The Chosen One for this competition, there will also be second place prize of a three night's stay at the iconic Hagrid's Hut—which still sounds like a win to me!
