Dr Pepper is giving its fans another treat with the debut of a new flavor.
The fresh addition to the soda brand's lineup was shared via Instagram by food blogger Markie Devo on Wednesday, April 10, along with photos of its packaging.
Limited-edition Dr Pepper Creamy Coconut is said to be currently making its way to store shelves, with a national rollout date of April 29. In addition, a Zero Sugar option is also being offered, and both varieties come in bottle and can form.
"It’s described as a one-of-a-kind taste of Dr Pepper blended with creamy toasted coconut flavor," according to the social media post's caption.
Though the official launch date isn't until later this month, the upload offers insight that some grocers and retailers could stock the new flavor early—so curious tastebuds should keep their eyes peeled for a surprise debut. Still, it will only available for a limited time, with no word on when it's expected to disappear.
On social media, fans were caught clamoring over the new arrival.
"Heckin yeah!!!! I’m in!" one exclaimed.
"Dr. Pepper & Malibu is one of my fav lazy cocktails so I bet this will be delish!" another suggested, while a third followed up in agreement, with "I cannot wait to mix it with my Malibu!"—a clear indication that several folks have got warm weather and summer sips on the brain.
"Stop it right now I’m DYING!!! This is going to be epic," someone else insisted, as yet another Instagram user admitted, "I'll be in stores that morning.??"
This launch comes on the heels of the news that another seasonal collaboration product is headed to stores just in time for summer: Dr Pepper Float flavored Blue Bell ice cream.
