'Comfortable, subtle and fashionable': Erin Andrews launches stylish NFL clothing for women

Erin Andrews is getting off the sidelines and getting into the fashion game.
The Fox NFL sportscaster and DWTS host launched Wear by Erin Andrews today, a sportswear collection for women who love showing team spirit but don’t want to compromise on style.
Andrews, who is married to former NHL player Jarret Stoll, tells Yahoo Lifestyle she wanted to design a collection female fans could wear on game day and beyond after experiencing the fashion dilemma firsthand. "I would go to his games and want to go out to dinner afterward, and I wanted to wear team gear but make it look cute," she says.
Her stylish solution? Wear by Erin Andrews, a nine-piece collection of looks for the fashionable football fan, available now at NFL Shop and Fanatics.
The debut collection features short and long-sleeved T-shirts, cozy sweaters, a satin bomber jacket, a pair of track pants, and a denim shirt starting at $39. Each item in the line is also inspired by Andrews herself, who describes the collection as "comfortable, subtle and fashionable."
"I dress very tomboyishly and casual — even on the field, I need to be comfortable and presentable. I wanted something with a logo that wasn't in your face," she explains. "Everything we did, we tried to keep tonal, color-on-color, and inspired by something I would have in my closet like Rag & Bone or James Perse."
The name of her brand isn't just a play on her initials — for Andrews, Wear embodies the versatility behind each design. "You can wear it during the week, out to dinner or lunch, and pair it with different things in your closet. It's not limited to game day or a tailgate," she says.
This is the first clothing line for Erin Andrews, who is juggling her new fashion role amid football season and the latest season of DWTS. "I drink a lot of coffee and use a lot of concealer," she jokes about balancing it all.
As if that wasn't enough, she’s in the process of designing a second Wear by Erin Andrews collection. "We're already working on season two for 2020!"

The style-conscious football fan swears by this easy layering piece, one of her favorite designs: "I'm a big bomber jacket fan. I have them in so many colors because I think when I wear them, I look fashionable, so we did them for all 32 teams,” she says.
