Angus Cloud is being remembered by those who knew and cared for him.

The “Euphoria” actor died at the age of 25 at his family’s home in Oakland, California, NBC News confirmed on July 31. The news of his death came a week after his father was buried, Cloud’s family said in a statement.

Cloud was best known for his role as Fezco in the HBO drama, which has run for two seasons and has a third on the way. Amid news of Cloud's death, the cast of “Euphoria” — including Zendaya — paid tribute to their fellow co-star, remembering their time with the late star.

Maude Apatow, who portrayed Lexi Howard on the series, shared how her "heart is broken" after Cloud's death. Their characters had developed a sweet friendship during the second season.

“Angus was the funniest person ever. I would get so excited to see on the schedule that we would be working together because I knew we’d have the best day, laughing so hard,” Apatow wrote on Instagram on Aug. 2. “He was the sweetest and made everyone around him so happy. He was just the best. Words can’t really capture how magical of a person he was. My heart is broken.”

She added that getting to know and work with Cloud “was one of the greatest joys and blessings of my life. I will love you forever.”

The show's creator, Sam Levinson, remembered the actor in a statement provided to NBC News.

Javon Walton, who portrayed Cloud’s on-screen brother, Ashtray, shared a photo of the two on his Instagram hugging. He wrote, “rest easy brother.”
