Eva Longoria is finding a moment of levity amid her busy life!
During a brief reprieve at a recent gig, the director held a brief dance break for herself, grooving to Dolly Parton in a lighthearted new video uploaded to Instagram on Nov. 26.
"Life lately ????," she captioned the photoset, which featured a variety of photos with family and friends from numerous occasions.
Hidden away on the sixth slide, Longoria gets down to the country superstar's "Island in the Stream," dressed in a body-hugging white sweater dress with an open v-neck ending in a series of buttons. She engages in a series of sidesteps, clapping her hands to the beat before Kerry Washington jumps into frame, stepping in time as the two shimmy and shake.
The Scandal alum wore a shiny, oversized brown satin pantsuit with a low-cut brown bodysuit underneath, offering a pop of color with her orange pointed pumps.
Before the video ended, Washington shifted so that her back was to Longoria's front, reaching back to pull her close into a backward hug, with Washington at a significant lean due to her height, as they continued to sway to the music.
The clip was shot backstage on Nov. 12 in Miami, where the two women spoke as part of the 2023 Miami Book Fair at Miami Dade College, where they participated in an event called "An Afternoon With Kerry Washington In Conversation With Eva Longoria," promoting Washington's recent memoir Thicker than Water, in which she divulges a family secret kept hidden from her for years that turned her world "upside down" when she was finally brought into the loop.
