Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have been madly in love since meeting on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines, but unlike so many other Hollywood couples, these two keep their personal lives out of the spotlight. So when either of them say anything about their relationship, it’s basically a national holiday in the tabloid world. This time around, Eva did not have time for a follower who made a wild claim about Ryan.
On Sunday, the Hitch actress posted a black-and-white pic of herself playfully walking across the beach to Instagram. It looked like it was straight out of a perfume ad and absolutely stunning. (Oh, to look as effortless as Eva when running across the piping-hot sand.) She captioned it, “Went for a run on the beach this morning ?? No I didn’t. This picture was taken at least 15 years ago. Haven’t seen a beach this year. Haven’t been on a run this year. ??”

The caption was painfully relatable, but, uh, one person took it the complete wrong way, commenting, “You need to tell Ryan to get you out more.” Guess they forgot Eva is a grown-ass woman who can make her own decisions in life. Also, we’re in quarantine, so being inside should be everyone’s main MO right now!
Well, when Eva saw this ridiculous comment, she replied, “No thank you, I’m good. Rather be home with my man than anywhere else in the world.”
