Eva Mendes on Working with Ryan Gosling Again Now that She's a Mom
Eva Mendes has discussed her desire to work with beau Ryan Gosling again.
The adorable couple first met while filming The Place Beyond the Pines, and later collaborated on Gosling's directorial debut, Lost River.
In a new interview, Mendes revealed, "I really want to work with Ryan again."
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes usually keep their relationship super private. However, the Hitch actress has been opening up lately about what life is like with Gosling and their two daughters, five-year-old Esmerelda, and three-year-old Amada.
Speaking to E! News, Mendes revealed that she'd love to work with Gosling professionally again, having both acted with him, and starred in a movie he was directing. Gosling and Mendes met on the set of 2012's The Place Beyond the Pines, which co-starred Bradley Cooper. Mendes then starred in 2014 movie Lost River, which marked Gosling's debut as a director.
Mendes explained, "Now that I'm older and that I'm a mother, I would obviously choose my roles differently. I'm just a walking example for [my daughters] and I take that very seriously so it would have to be something that feels appropriate and that would still be fun for me. It's a lot of parameters, you know?"
As for whether she'd work with her partner again, the actress was quick to answer. She revealed, "But yes, I would be very excited. And I really want to work with Ryan again. My most fun experience was being on set with him when he was directing."
Mendes also said, "It was really so creatively satisfying being in it together and he's such an amazing director. I would love that experience again, for sure." Fingers crossed that the lovebirds decide to make another movie together sometime soon.
