Brunch now available at Bad Randy’s

Bad Randy's Hot Chicken and BBQ Lounge now serves brunch on Sundays from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. On the menu are Italian sausage quesadillas with pistachio butter, basil and hot honey; spicy chicken breast on a honey butter biscuit; a Croque Madame with fried meatloaf, cheese, egg and horseradish on toasted sourdough; avocodo toast with an egg and much more.

New doughnut truck

Cotton Shed Dounts is a new food truck in Evansville serving freshly fried mini cinnamon doughnuts.

Vegetable and flower share

The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library Stringtown Road branch will host a vegetable and flower share on Thursday, July 11, from 1-3 p.m. If you have extra vegetables or flowers in your garden, register for a table and bring them over. You do not need to register to come take advantage of the free bounty. Future vegetable and flower shares will happen at the same location on July 25, Aug. 8, and Aug. 22.

Bourbon dinner at the Farmer & Frenchman

The Farmer & Frenchman winery and restaurant will be hosting a Bourbon pairing dinner with spirits from Green River Distilling Co. in Owensboro on Thursday, Aug. 1, beginning at 7 p.m.

On the menu will be Creole caponata, fried scallops with grilled polenta, Wagyu beef lasagna, and cherry-covered chocolate cheesecake. Tickets are $95 with Bourbon pairings or $85 without Bourbon.

Mullen's Dressings at Highland Inn

The Highland Inn is now offering Mullen’s dressings and sauces by the bottle or in gallons by preorder.

Flavors include the famous Imitation French dressing, a milder French dressing, barbecue sauce made with the original Imitation French Dressing, creamy Italian dressing, Special salad dressing with a touch of mustard, and Apricot Ham Delight basting sauce.

Kipplee’s anniversary specials

Kipplee's Pizza is turning 35 in July and has announced specials for the entire month. Enjoy an order of breadsticks or a 22-oz. domestic draft for $3.50, or any 16-inch specialty pizza and a dozen wings for $35.

Manna Mediterranean on vacation

Manna Mediterranean Grill has announced that they will be closed for a family vacation until Monday, July 29.

Myriad Brewing block party

The Myriad Brewing Company in Downtown Evansville will host the 4th Annual Block Party on Saturday, July 13, from 4-11 p.m. There will be an outdoor beer garden and food trucks including La Plaza, Traveler's Deli, Taco Bar, and Chino Taco.

Prime Murder Mystery

The Prime Time Pub & Grill in Newburgh will host a pirate theme Murder Mystery dinner on Thursday, Aug. 1, beginning at 6 p.m. Diners participate as characters. The ticket price of $40 includes dinner. Drinks will be sold separately. There will be prizes, including for best dressed pirate. Seating is limited. Prime Time Pub & Grill North will be hosting a tequila tasting with Herradura Tequila on Thursday, July 25, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The price is $40 and will include multiple tequila tastings, small plate pairings and take-home gifts. Call or stop by the restaurant to reserve a spot.
