ANGOLA, N.Y. (WIVB) — The entire haunting experience created by the team of Everhaunt’s talents and tricks, will be a treat for visitors trying to get into the Halloween spirit.

For those who are dying to be scared, Everhaunt has something here to help you face your fears. But, they do say if you’re not looking to be terrified, they have something here for everyone.

“We have detailed sets, we have tons of animations, we have cool storylines but the actors and our team is what brings this to life. They are the lifeblood of what we do,” chief haunting officer Kevin Donovan said.

Walking through their haunted houses might give you a fright, and if the experience is too scary, actors are trained to assist and help aid you to other activities. They also have created escape rooms, games, virtual realty rides, a new boutique, a pumpkin spectacular, and more.

“We’re not in the business to traumatize that’s not us we want people to leave here feeling a positive spirit of Halloween,” Donovan said.

“There’s a difference between being scared and being scarred,” character Kristine Blazer said.

And, they’re scaring for a cause. Everhaunt started when Donovan held a Halloween party in 2014 to raise money for a friend battling cancer. A decade later, the attraction keeps growing and they continue to give portions of each ticket to local charities every year.

“Our heart remains the same,” Donovan said. “We’re here because of the love of Halloween but also we love to help others too.”
