I have these Everlane jeans in every wash, and they're on sale for just $41

I consider myself somewhat of a denim connoisseur. I wear jeans practically every day and have amassed a collection that ranges from Target and Uniqlo to Re/Done and Agolde. I’m part of the minority that happens to love shopping for new jeans, and the sea of blue in my closet reflects my unfortunate obsession.
Despite having an embarrassingly large denim library that includes pairs I’ve (regretfully) spent hundreds of dollars on, my absolute favorite pair, when not on sale, is less than $70: Everlane’s Mid-Rise Skinny Jeans. In fact, I love them so much, I bought them in every single wash — and that was before they were on sale.
That’s right: These truly perfect jeans are 40 percent off. You can snag a pair for yourself for just $41. Every wash is marked down, so whether you’re a blue jeans kind of gal or can’t live without a pair of black skinnies, you’re in luck. They come in three lengths, too, though I personally prefer the ankle crop so I can show off my booties.
Sure, that’s all well and good, but what exactly makes this admittedly standard-looking pair of jeans so great? Oh, let me count the ways.

First off, they have the perfect rise. Unlike high-waisted denim, which I don’t find comfortable or flattering, the medium rise helps mask “problem areas” around the lower belly, and they’re much more flattering on the bum. Ever thought high-waisted jeans give you a case of elongated booty? Mid-rise jeans don’t do that. They’re also easier to tuck tops into.
Second, these skinnies are made with premium Japanese denim that has a touch of stretch, but they don’t bag out around the rear and knees. The more you wear them, the more they contour to your body. Despite the curve-hugging fit, they never feel constricting. Case in point? I wore these to Thanksgiving dinner, and after multiple helpings of turkey, stuffing and pie, I never felt the need to undo the top button.
Like all Everlane pieces, these are transparently produced and priced. This particular style was made in a factory in Vietnam, and all production costs are broken down on the product page. These are available in sizes 24-33, and three lengths — ankle, regular, and tall. Want to see how they would look on someone your size? Everlane has a nifty tool that shows each pair on different models with various body types.
Since these are part of Everlane’s Choose What You Pay section — as in, you can choose how much you pay per item — it’s safe to say the brand most likely won’t be producing any more of these amazing jeans. One they’re gone, they’re gone for good, so if you see your size in your preferred wash, I strongly suggest picking up a pair immediately. In fact, I’m going to go buy some backups for my favorites now — you know, just in case.
