Your favorite NCIS: Los Angeles characters are about to cross the line.

In the season 10 episode titled “The Patton Project,” the team is approached with a task that none of the agents appear to be too thrilled about. A sneak peek on the website describes it as, “a covert operation tied to a terrorist group advocating for extreme military force.” And the official preview above makes it sound even more ominous, calling it “the most powerful episode of the season.” Eek!

Agent Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and his squad are volunteered to assist with taking down the Patton Project, a group within the U.S. military that advocates for extreme force and is now at risk of accessing weapons of mass destruction, according to this clip. Basically what it boils down to is that they’re “being forced to work with an assassination team,” as Agent Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) aptly puts it.

Though Callen and Agent Hannah (LL Cool J) try to push back, agreeing that “this is contract killing, that is not what we do,” it doesn’t look as if they’re going to get their way. And if the action sequences with Kensi (Daniela Ruah) are any indication, it’s not going to be a smooth ride.

Fans are already buzzing about the previews, with nearly everyone agreeing that “THE NEXT EPISODE LOOKS SO INTENSE.”

Our suggestion for making it through the 60 minutes of pure drama? This Twitter user says it best:

“Next week’s @NCISLA looks stressful. I will need more snacks.” Same!
