Everyone’s Loving Halsey’s Long Hair

There are only a few celebrities in Hollywood who are known to dramatically change up their look at a moment’s notice, and singer Halsey is most notably one of them. While plenty of Video Music Awards attendees styled their hair into sleek updos or tousled waves for Sunday night’s big event, Halsey, who usually has a colorful buzzcut, decided not only to change up her hair length, but to switch the color as well.

The singer — who was almost unrecognizable when she arrived at the VMAs — wore her hair ultra-long and colored dark brown (rather than the turquoise shade she’s been seen in lately) while walking down the red carpet. The drastic makeover appears to have been created using either wavy extensions, or a wig, both options are something celebrities like Kylie Jenner have proved to be fans of using for red carpet events in the past.

Considering Halsey was just seen earlier this month wearing a pixie cut, it’s extremely unlikely that this new hairdo would be natural. Nonetheless, the singer still looked incredible. See her new style for yourself, above and below:

Gorgeous, right? Well Halsey’s new look quickly became the center of attention during the VMAs, with fans blowing up social media to talk about it.

Obviously, Halsey’s new hair was a huge hit with fans. But will that make her want to keep the lengthy locks around for a bit longer this time? Only time will tell.
