Everything We Know About 'When Calls the Heart' Season 10
The new season is already in post-production.
Whew! We were worried for moment, but back in June Hallmark finally announced When Calls the Heart's official return for season 10! There are so many stories left to tell in Hope Valley, but Hallmark seems to be shifting away from many of their long-running scripted series. (See the cancellations of Picture Perfect Murders, Hailey Dean Mysteries and Matchmaker Mysteries over on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.) Plus, we also learned that the current season 6 of Chesapeake Shores would be its last. Thanks you, Hallmark Channel, for keeping #Hearties happy for another season!
Here's what we know about season 10 of When Calls the Heart.
Has When Calls the Heart been renewed for season 10?
Yes! On June 17, 2022, Hallmark officially renewed When Calls the Heart for season 10.
Erin Krakow, who stars and also serves as executive producer said, “I am thrilled that When Calls the Heart is coming back for a 10th season. With our amazing cast, crew, and talented writers, we can look forward to more adventures, laughs, tears, and stories of romance throughout the community of Hope Valley. We are so excited for all the viewers, especially the Hearties, to continue this journey with us!”
When Calls the Heart continues to push the limits as to what we can achieve with this show,” said Lisa Hamilton Daly, executive vice president of programming at Crown Media Family Networks, in a statement. “There are many more stories still to be told about the lives of the beloved characters in this series and we cannot wait for everyone at home to tune in to see what unfolds.”
Krakow added, "I'm feeling very grateful. I'm really happy. I'm very proud, excited to get to spend more time in Hope Valley with all of these people I really care about and it's just mind-blowing to think about a decade of When Calls the Heart. It's really pretty amazing. I'm really happy."
Executive producer Brian Bird had this to say about the renewal:
Has production begun on season 10 of When Calls the Heart?

What are the storylines for season 10 of When Calls the Heart?
Nothing official has been released regarding the storylines for season 10 of When Calls the Heart but we can predict a few story arcs for the next season: We imagine the romance continues between Lucas (Chris McNally) and Elizabeth (Erin Krakow). Perhaps we will discover what Bill's (Jack Wagner) illness is and how serious it might be. Of course, there's the Coulter pregnancy and all the drama (real or imagined) that Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) will bring with it. We're bound to see more about the future of the oil company, foundry and mines. We may possibly see new romances emerging between the singletons of Hope Valley as well.
Both Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith recently posted this to their Instagram feed regarding Family Coulter:

Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith (Rosemary and Lee Coulter)
Rosemary LeVeaux was at first hated by fans of the show when it appeared that she might be out to break Elizabeth and Jack apart, but after she fell in love and married Lee Coulter, fans were won over by her amusingly not-so-humble airs.
Lee rode into town on a motorcycle and instantly took a shine to Rosemary and romanced her and eventually married her. The successful businessman is running for town mayor while his wife revived the town newspaper and is its editor, writer and publisher.
The Coulters have struggled with starting a family for several seasons but it looks like things will change in season 10!
