Jennifer Lopez in "This Is Me...Now"
Jennifer Lopez is coming back in a big way.
The singer, actress, dancer and producer will release her first full-length album in nine years, This Is Me...Now, along with a film documenting the making and inspiration behind it (read: her love story with Ben Affleck).
Lopez first announced the album in November 2022 as a sequel to This Is Me...Then, released in November 2002 and chronicling her first romantic go-around with the Oscar winner.
"We captured me at this moment in time when I was reunited with the love of my life, and we decided we were going to be together forever," she told Zane Lowe (via The Hollywood Reporter). "The whole message of the album then is this love exists. This is a real love. Now I think what the message of the album is very much if you were wondering if you have, like me at times, lost hope, almost given up, don't. Because true love does exist, and some things do last forever, and that's real."

This Is Me...Now will premiere on Prime Video on Feb. 16, 2024.

What is the Jennifer Lopez This Is Me...Now movie about?
An official synopsis of the project describes the film as "a narrative-driven intimate, reflective, sexy, funny, fantastical and highly entertaining musical and visual reimagining of Lopez's publicly scrutinized love life."
Dave Meyers, who previously directed several of Lopez's music videos, helms the movie, which her record label BMG said is a "genre-redefining immersive experience." You can expect celebrity cameos and a lot of intricate choreography, as well as a reinforcement of Lopez's belief in "fairytale endings."

Is there a Jennifer Lopez This Is Me...Now trailer?
A trailer for This Is Me Now...The Film was released on Nov. 27, 2023. In it, Lopez, rocking wet hair, sits in front of a fireplace and says, "When I was a little girl, when someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always, 'In love.'" Next are brief flashes of the kind of choreography on J-to-the-L-O can deliver.

When is the Jennifer Lopez This Is Me...Now album release date?
The album This Is Me...Now will drop the same day as the film on Feb. 16, 2024. The first single from the album, "Can't Get Enough," will be released on Jan. 10, 2024.
