Yes, Kensington Palace had previously kept things a bit vague, announcing “Spring 2019” as Meghan’s official due date. However, while in Birkenhead, England, for a royal visit with hubby Harry, Meghan let it slip to a crowd of well-wishers that she’s due between the end of April and beginning of May.

Unlike her royal sis-in-law Kate Middleton, Meghan—who recently moved from Kensington Palace to Frogmore House in Berkshire, England, with Harry—is hoping to give birth at a hospital that’s a bit closer to home. In an exclusive interview with PureWow, Robert Lacey, historian to The Crown, said: “There’s a lot of excitement [in the UK] because [he or she] will be the first-ever mixed race baby.” He added, “We’ve had mixed nationality babies before, obviously, but this will be a new generation of mixed race children.”
