Should You Expect USPS Mail Delivery on Labor Day?
Labor Day is a nice way to bid summer goodbye in the last three-day weekend of the season. Whether you use Labor Day to relax or cram a ton of chores or events into three days, it’s yours to celebrate how you want! But even though Labor Day is meant to commemorate and honor workers and their rights, not all businesses are closed for the holiday.
Then again, some major businesses and services (like banks) are closed or not running on Labor Day. So, with that said, is the post office open on Labor Day? If you really need stamps, you can purchase them elsewhere, like grocery stores or office supply stores, which might be open on Labor Day.

FedEx Custom Critical and FedEx Offices will be open on Labor Day (FedEx Office has modified hours according to their website).
As for UPS, only UPS Express Critical will be open on Sept. 2 for Labor Day. Most of the regular UPS Store locations will be closed on Labor Day.
