Exploring big trucks in 3rd Annual Touch-a-Truck and Craft Fair

EXETER TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A family fun event was held on Sunday in Luzerne County.

Children and adults got to explore large trucks at the Harding Recreational Committee’s Third Annual Touch-a-Truck and Craft Fair.

The event celebrates the committee’s founding in 2021.

Highlights included a craft fair and a special opportunity for children to meet first responders and explore a truck.

Hispanic Heritage celebration kicks off in Wilkes-Barre

The event showcased 16 different trucking companies, from garbage trucks to police and fire department units.

“This takes months of planning between multiple organizations and multiple people working all going to one giant goal. and when we are at that goal today and executing it– its amazing. it’s a great feeling to see all this type of community here,” said Harding Recreational Committee President Arthur Becker.

The Harding Recreational Committee organizes several other community activities throughout the year, including a Christmas tree lighting in December.
