Face Masks to Shop from Black Designers

Consumerism took a swift dive into activism-based shopping. As a result of the surmounting support for the Black Lives Matter movement, people have adopted new habits to promote progressive change through everyday decisions: reading literature penned by Black writers, becoming more involved in policy making, and buying products from Black-owned businesses. As these initiatives have continued to grow and gain traction, more creative talents have gained newfound, and long overdue, visibility for their contributions in fashion and beyond.

Showing no signs of regression, the market for personal protective equipment has skyrocketed, from instances of rekindled demand for Off-White logo masks in the resale market to reports of activewear-mask drops selling out within minutes. In spirit of maintaining support for designers of color, indefinitely, we have rounded up a collection of masks from BIPOC innovators.
