The 5-second makeup trick to make fake freckles look real
All the cool kids (and grown ups) are getting ready for Coachella. The two-weekend event takes place in southern California’s desert valley, and this year’s music and arts festival’s lineup includes Kanye West, Childish Gambino and Ariana Grande. So you can expect to see a lot of bold and boho-inspired beauty. But if you prefer simple looks that can hold up in triple-digit temps, then you’ll want to pay close attention to this makeup tutorial.
Yahoo Lifestyle tapped Calle & Poché to share their Coachella beauty tips. The Youtube couple’s style is the perfect blend of sassy and sweet, and they embody our ideal of hot-weather makeup goals.
Want to experiment with the fake freckles trend but afraid of not quite pulling it off? No problem. Poché dusts Calle’s nose with a peachy-pink blush before drawing on the freckles to achieve a “shadow effect” that helps to make the faux beauty marks look real. This simple trick takes just under five seconds!
Dot on your fake freckles with a fine makeup brush. Then use you fingertips to tap over them so it doesn’t look to “harsh,” Poché advises. Set your makeup with translucent powder and you’re done.
