Fall Community Garage Sales make a return

Fall Community Garage Sales will return to Rock Falls and Sterling between Friday, Sept. 20 and Sunday, Sept. 22.

Hosted by the Rock Falls Chamber of Commerce, the annual event brings residents together to earn extra cash, score unbeatable deals and contribute to the local economy, a press release says.

“As soon as the spring sales end, families are already planning for the fall event,” Sam Smith, President and CEO of the Rock Falls Chamber, said. “There’s nothing like the thrill of finding a bargain or making some extra cash while decluttering your home.”

Registration is $10 through Sept. 8. A late fee of $5 will apply Sept. 9. Feature ads will be available for an additional $10.

All residents in the 61701 and 61801 zip codes are welcome to participate.
