Boston Bruins Captain and left winger Brad Marchand recently paid Evelyn’s a visit, with his family.
Evelyn’s made the announcement in a Facebook post:
“We were stoked to have the absolute legend Brad Marchand, captain of the @nhlbruins crash our patio and enjoy his afternoon with his family! Core memory unlocked!”
New special of the month at KRAVE Poutinerie
KRAVE Poutinerie, located at 486 Bedford St., Fall River, has announced their new special for the month of July: lingui?a and onion poutine.
They also have fried Oreos and fried curds available all week.

The All American Burger is a half-pound burger, seasoned with All American bbq rub, loaded with cheddar cheese, chili, and crispy, deep-fried hot dog bacon.
Watermelon lime is back at Mission Cold Brew Co.
Mission Cold Brew Co., 657 Quarry St., Fall River, has brought back a crowd-favorite cold brew.
It’s got watermelon and dragonfruit puree, with squeezed lime over a rosehip and raspberry leaf base.
Get 4th of July cake all month at Canned Heat Craft Beer Company
You can have a little slice of the 4th of July all month at Canned Heat Craft Beer Company, 52 Ferry St., Fall River.
They have red, white, and blue cake, available all month long.
July’s Specialty Sundae at Simcock Farm
Simcock Farm, 293 Marvel St., Swansea, has announced the Specialty Sundae for July.
The Caramel Brownie Sundae comes with a warm, homemade brownie; salted caramel truffle, vanilla, and death by chocolate ice cream; topped with caramel, hot fudge, brownie pieces, whipped cream, nuts, and cherries.
Date night at Bittersweet Farm Restaurant and Tavern
Enjoy a midweek boost at Bittersweet Farm Restaurant and Tavern, 438 Main Rd., Westport.
Wednesday is date night, with a three-course, prix fixe menu.
Select a starter to share: fried calamari, Bam Bam shrimp, a stuffie and chowder combo, or stuffed portobello.
Choose two entrees: baked New Bedford scrod, grilled salmon quinoa, Frenchy’s zuppa, chicken parmesan, Marsala or piccata, or farmhouse steak tips.
Dessert is to share: either a brownie deluxe sundae, or bittersweet kiss.
Dinner is $48 per couple, and for $12 more, you can add a house bottle of wine.
