Continent Bakery closes for the season

Continent Bakery, 198 Pinehurst Ave., Swansea, has wrapped up another season.

Their last day was July 8, and they announced on their Facebook page that they will return in mid-September.

“Thank you for a wonderful season!” they wrote.

Shark Week-themed treat at Eskimo King

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the ice cream stand.

Ok, it is safe, actually, of course!

Eskimo King, 29 Market St., Swansea, has a Shark Week-themed treat.

The Shark Bite is blue raspberry slush, with a layer of vanilla soft serve, covered in cherry dip. It’s topped with whipped cream, a cherry, and gummy sharks.
