The Fan-Favorite Costco Freezer Item That Shoppers Buy 10 at a Time

On a cold winter day, there isn’t much that can compete with a bowl of ramen or some hot-off-the-pan fried dumplings. Honestly, whichever way you prefer your dumplings (steamed or fried) doesn't really matter; it's the instant full belly and warmth that you receive from them that truly makes dumplings such an incredible meal choice. Even better, when you finally find a brand or restaurant that makes dumplings just the way you like them, that’s when you know you’ve hit the culinary jackpot.

Speaking of culinary jackpots, Costco just brought back a fan-favorite brand of frozen dumplings that has resulted in some members chucking 10 bags at a time into their oversized shopping carts. Bibigo Beef Bulgogi Mandu Dumplings are extra large dumplings filled with Korean-style bulgogi flavor and sold in a 3-pound bag for around $15.96.

“Air fry them in chili crisp I dare ya,” one member coxed in response to a post shared to the popular Costco subreddit regarding the classic pan-fried meal. “This is the way,” responded another. “Coat in a light oil (sesame oil if you’re adventurous) and air fry for about 14 min. You can toss' em in a sauce after, or just dip.”

In fact, even though the bag's directions recommend pan frying the dumplings in less than 10 minutes, a flood of comments online were urging people to try using their air fryers to get the job done.

In response to being asked about spraying oil on the dumplings before air frying, one experienced diner responded, “We do 375°F for 12 minutes, spray with sunflower oil and flip halfway.” And if you were wondering what sauce would go great to coat the dumplings in, another fan chimed in with recommending the Kewpie Roasted Sesame Sauce.

Bibigo Beef Bulgogi Mandu Dumplings are made using USDA Choice beef and are recommended to keep frozen until ready to eat. They come fully cooked in a resealable bag, which means that it will be less than 10 minutes between pulling them out of the freezer and chowing down. The price may be different in store, as well as potentially cheaper, so keep an eye out. One customer went as far as to say that they like to “wait for the sale every 3-6 months” and then stock up. With reviews like this, you’re going to want to make space in your freezer and act fast.
