This Fan-Favorite Krispy Kreme Doughnut Will Return for One Week Only

Citrus lovers, get ready to do a happy dance. Krispy Kreme is bringing back their popular Lemon Glazed Doughnut for one week, starting on Monday, August 27th. The new doughnut flavor first came to be earlier this year during a Krispy Kreme campaign where fans could vote on a new glazed doughnut. Indeed, the limited-time treat was clearly enough of a hit to inspire Krispy Kreme execs to revive the craveable offering.

“The Lemon Glazed Doughnut embodies so much of what we love about summer – a season we’re just not quite ready to let go of. Bringing back the perfect pairing of zesty fresh lemon and sweet Original Glaze is an awesome way to stretch summer out just a bit longer,” said Alison Holder, head of US Marketing for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, in a company press release.

The doughnuts will be available from August 27th through September 2nd at participating Krispy Kreme outposts across the United States and Canada. Something tells us we'll be making multiple Krispy Kreme runs next week.
