Fans Beg for a Kelly Clarkson and Christina Aguilera Duet After 'Fighter' Cover
Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera
Kelly Clarkson is showing off her range and powerhouse vocals, yet again.
During the latest Kellyoke (her version of karaoke) session on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the "Stronger" singer tried her hand at fellow pop songstress Christina Aguilera's 2002-released tune, "Fighter."
The feat, was, obviously, not a problem at all, as she has been hailed as "the best American Idol" for covering such iconic songs as Patti LaBelle's "New Attitude," Tommy James & The Shondells' "Crimson and Clover," Whitney Houston's "Queen of the Night," Sia's "Chandelier," and countless more hits in the past.
A video of the most recent musical presentation was uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday, Oct. 24, and fans couldn't wait to express how much "she is on fire this season."
"Omg jaw on the floor. She is superb lawd [sic] that voice!!!!! Sing Kelly!" one complimented, while another insisted, "Kelly can sing anything I swear ????????????."
"She has come out on fire this season," a third stated, while a fourth agreed, "She is on fire!! Thanks for being a fighter, Kelly. ???."
"LOVE KELLY SINCE IDOL, LOVE Christina since Reflection. ??? queens !!!" someone else exclaimed, and another social media user chimed in with, "She is the best American Idol singer! I never have heard a bad performance from her:)"
Meanwhile, one fan, in particular, seized this occasion as the perfect opportunity to campaign for a duet featuring the two musical artists, writing, "We need a Song & Stories with her and Christina," and the request was agreed upon by several other viewers of the clip, who "liked" the comment's suggestion.
