Kelly Clarkson
Just when Kelly Clarkson's fans thought she couldn't possibly impress them anymore, she does it again!
In yet another powerhouse Kellyoke performance, the singer and talk show host took listeners back to the '80s with a Bruce Hornsby cover that fans are calling nothing short of "timeless."
Clarkson, 41, put her spin on the 1986 track "The Way It Is" during the Monday, Jan. 29 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, performing alongside My Band Y'all, with music director Jason Halbert accompanying her on the piano.
As usual, the "Since U Been Gone" singer completely blew fans away with her smooth vocals and effortless energy on stage, causing listeners to applaud her for showing off "that soft side" of her voice.
"Beautifully done, as always!" one user wrote under a video of the performance shared to the talk show's YouTube channel, calling Clarkson's voice "timeless."
Another person labeled the American Idol winner's voice as "exquisite," while someone else insisted, "Kelly can sing anything."
"Kelly never missed," another commenter echoed.
Halbert also seemed to leave fans astonished with his own pure talent, which was on full-display during Monday's Kellyoke segment. After Clarkson finished singing her part of the song, she switched the attention to Halbert for a piano solo, yelling to the audience, "Give it up for Jason, y'all!"
"That piano guy can play!" one user gushed, as another wrote, "Jason's skills are next level and I love that Kelly highlights this!!"
"Wow! Jason always delivers but this was just awesome!" someone else exclaimed. "And Kelly's vocals were just magic (as per usual)."
