Fans Dig Up Conan O'Brien's Eerie 2004 Interview With Danny Masterson After Sentencing
Conan O'Brien predicted the downfall of Danny Masterson nearly 20 years ago.
Following a 30-year prison sentence for multiple counts of rape yesterday, Sept. 7, for the That 70's Show star, fans have dug up an old interview clip when he stopped by Late Night with Conan O’Brien, where the popular interviewer easily sussed out the actor's malicious behavior.
The two were joking about Masterson's Long Island accent, or lack thereof, due to his prolonged time living in Los Angeles. "It goes away naturally," they brushed off the difference, though Masterson admitted that "there's nothing you can do about" a few words in particular.

He gave an example of one of his friends, Bodhi Elfman, teasing his accent, rattling off an example of his fellow actor mimicking him: "Hi, my name is Danny Masterson, would you like to touch my balls?”
O'Brien was understandably stunned by the choice of words, questioning, “So why are you asking people to do that? That’s the more important question.”
“I mean, you got ’em, you know what I mean? Everybody should grab,” Masterson countered.
O'Brien laughed along for a moment before deadpanning, "I’ve heard about you. And you’ll be caught soon; I know you will.”
Chillingly, Masterson agreed, stating, "I will."
Fast-forward to present day, and the 47-year-old was sentenced to a minimum of 30 years in prison after being found guilty of raping two women at his Hollywood Hills home between 2001 and 2003. A third victim had leveled accusations of assault against Masterson, but a jury did not come to a verdict on that account.
The guilty verdicts came in May, after a previous trial ended in a mistrial last November.
