Fans Are Divided After Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello Are Spotted Kissing at Coachella
The internet doesn't know how to feel about the exes hanging out together.
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello sent the internet into a frenzy this weekend after new footage showed them hanging out together at Coachella on Friday night.
One clip from the festival in Indio, Calif., showed them getting particularly cozy with one another. In the video, shared by a fan account on Twitter, the exes were seen embracing each other and even sharing a passionate kiss, causing their fans to absolutely spiral over what could be the start of a possible reunion.
Cabello, 26, and Mendes, 24, first went public with their relationship in 2019, following the collaboration on their two hit songs "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and "Se?orita."

They announced their split over two years later in November 2021, noting that they still intended on staying friends amid the breakup.
More footage of the night was also shared by 102.7 KIIS FM, which showed the former lovers chatting with drinks in their hands. The "Stitches" crooner appeared to have a big smile on his face as they hung out.
Another clip also showed them standing next to each other in a big group of people while they all were doing a "cheers" with their drinks.
"SHAWN MENDES AND CAMILA CABELLO HANGING OUT TOGETHER AT COACHELLA," the twitter user captioned the post, which caused fans to lose their mind over the new development.
"Am I the only one who doesn't know if I should be happy or sad here????" one user wrote on Twitter in reaction to the sighting, while someone else was equally overwhelmed with emotion, tweeting, "This is too much information rn."
Others were more wary about the interaction, with one person writing, "Please no," in response to the kissing moment. Another user also called the old flames "weak" for going back to each other.
But on the other hand, tons of their fans were over the moon to see the clips, theorizing that the pair could be giving their romance another go.
"I absolutely love them together," one user gushed.
"I’m so happy for them I missed them #shawmila," added another fan.
So far, neither Mendes nor the "Havana" songstress have addressed the recent rendezvous, so it looks like their fans are going to have to wait and see what the future holds for the duo.
