Fans Emotional After McDonald’s Brings Back Beloved McFlurry Flavor—But Only in Canada: ‘It Ain’t Right’

McDonald's is officially bringing back a fan-favorite McFlurry flavor, the Confetti Cookie Dough McFlurry, but only at Canada locations, and fans in America are jealous.
Food influencer Snackolator shared the news on Instagram, writing that they were "feeling a wide range of emotions here in the US about not getting this one here... It ain't right!"
They described the treat as vanilla ice cream "blended with confetti pieces and cookie dough."
Many felt the same frustration, with one fan writing, "That’s just cruel why do they do this to us ??."
"But yet Canadians will say they never get any releases…it’s wild to me," said another, as a third commented, "Please stop showing stuff the US can't get??."
One American fan joked that they wouldn't be able to get the McFlurry in the U.S. even if they carried it, saying, "The US McDonald’s ice cream machines never work anyway," as someone else declared, "This settles it time for a trip up north."
In March, a similar situation happened when McDonald's introduced the Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry, but only in Canada and the United Kingdom. While it was a limited release, U.S. fans of the popular fast-food chain really wished they could get their hands on it.
Thankfully, McDonald's has some other treats for American fans, with a few recent announcements including the return of Spicy Chicken McNuggets in March and the return of the McCafé Oreo Frappé in May.
The chain also surprised fans by announcing it was teaming up with Krispy Kreme to offer a selection of donuts at locations as a part of the breakfast menu: the Original Glazed, the Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles and the Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled Doughnut. The donut partnership is expected to start in the second half of 2024 and expand nationwide by 2026.
