Jennifer Garner is taking it back to her marching band days with a new series of throwback photos, and fans can't get over the "one time, in band camp," as one commenter joked.
The 13 Going on 30 alum played the saxophone at some point in her childhood, appearing to be in middle and high school in the snapshots she uploaded to Instagram on Wednesday, March 7. One, from the John Adams Junior High Marching Band, found her breaking parade formation to wave at the camera, while others found her mid-performance, surrounded by her fellow performers.
"Sally the Sexy Saxophone," she wrote in the caption. "she was a boss. ??."
The 51-year-old has barely aged a day since the photos were taken, with one follower declaring, "You look exactly the same! ????."
"We love Marching band Jen ????????," someone else wrote.
"Goodness, we had the same hair style that age. ??," another follower reminisced.
"My kind of sax player," Kristin Chenoweth hyped her up before also calling attention to her hair. "And, the bangs."
"I think I can speak for everyone when I say thank you for this," another comment read, suggesting that it was "exactly what [they] imagined]" in a hashtag.
Plenty of fans also questioned if the actress still played the instrument, but, unfortunately, as she told Seth Meyers several years ago, Sally disappeared in the wind over the decades, but she broke out a replacement to perform for Reese Witherspoon on her birthday in 2019, resuming the formality of band and marching off stiffly at the conclusion of the song.
Seems to us like her next starring role is already set in stone!
