Prince William and Kate Middleton may be the future King and Queen of the United Kingdom, but they kept it casual for their 2023 holiday card.
On Saturday, Dec. 9, the Prince and Princess of Wales debuted the snapshot that will be featured inside their seasonal greeting: a black-and-white photo of William, Kate, sons Prince George, 10, and Prince Louis, 5, and daughter Princess Charlotte, 8.
The royal family wore only white, crisp shirts and denim pants for the festive photo, leaving fans tickled pink. "It’s giving JC Penny," one fan cheekily commented. "They’re just like us!!!!"
Another gushed, "Captivating elegance in this black-and-white portrait, capturing the essence of a modern royal family filled with joy and love. Beautiful moment, Your Royal Highnesses! ????????."
Many couldn't believe how grown up the royal children looked, with one fan putting it best when they wrote: "Stop it right now! I remember when all these babies were born! Look how grown they are. ??"
However, other fans called out the Waleses for seemingly copying Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's casual black-and-white holiday card from 2019. "Copying meghan and Harry’s black and white photo theme," one commenter noted. "She sets the standard the rest follows ??."
Another top comment read, "Somewhere in California Meghan’s head just exploded and she’s shattering plates against the walls."
For those needing a refresher, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a black-and-white photo of themselves and son, Archie, prior to stepping down from the senior positions in the royal family.
