Fans Are Losing it Over Photo of Mick Jagger and Jimmy Fallon in British Pub
Name a more iconic duo than Jimmy Fallon and Mick Jagger. We'll wait...
The two stars—who are both legends in their own right—recently posed for a photo together from inside a British pub, and the results are truly sublime.
In the joint new Instagram post shared to both of their Instagram pages, the pair were captured at The Old Ship Inn in Hackney, London, as they caught up on the latest news with their heads each ducked into a copy of the local paper.
"Big news day in Hackney," they captioned the post, which garnered tons of attention from fans in the comments, who couldn't get enough of the legendary pairing.
"What a duo!!!" one fan gushed under the post, while another person wondered, "How cool would it be to have lunch with these two."
"Two legends," someone else commented.
The post comes ahead of a big announcement from Jagger, 80, and the rest of The Rolling Stones, who are expected to reveal their new album, Hackney Diamonds, during a livestream interview with Fallon, 48, on Wednesday, Sept. 6.
The livestream will air exclusively on the band's YouTube channel at 2:30 p.m. BST (9:30 a.m. EST.), as the Stones' Jagger, Keith Richards and Ron Wood will join Fallon from Hackney while talking "new album, new music, new era," according to the description on their YouTube channel.
Hackney Diamonds marks the legendary rock band's first album of original music since 2005's A Bigger Bang. It will also be their first release since the death of founding member Charlie Watts in 2021.
"Hackney may be at the heart of Hackney Diamonds, but this is a truly global moment we want to share with fans around the world via YouTube," The Rolling Stones said in a statement, per Billboard.
