  • Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt recently posted to his Twitter account a photo that is the perfect definition of social distancing.

  • The photo featured Bolt crossing the finish line at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

  • Paired with its cheeky caption, the tweet has since gone viral, with a bunch of memes in response.

Social distancing is now just a part of everyday life, but in case you forgot, there are no shortage of celebrities using their social media channels to issue followers a PSA. On Monday, Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt—a.k.a., the world’s fastest human—became the latest man to join their ranks.

In lieu of yet another warning, however, the nine-time gold medalist sprinter brought some comic relief to those in self-isolation, posting the now-iconic photo of himself crossing the finish line at the 100-meter final in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In a cheeky caption accompanying the photo, Bolt added, “Social distancing. #HappyEaster.”

You could say fans reacted positively: The tweet immediately went viral, garnering more than 100,000 retweets and inspiring countless memes.

One fan took the opportunity to poke fun at Britney Spears’ recent claim that she ran faster than Bolt in one of her isolated workouts.

Bolt famously broke the 100-meter world record and Olympic record in Beijing, finishing in 9.69 seconds. He also took home three more gold medals in the 2012 London Olympics and the 2016 Rio Olympics, further solidifying his place as a sprinting legend. Bolt retired from the sport in 2017 after suffering a hamstring injury at that year’s IAAF World Championships.
