Fans Have a Lot to Say About Carrie Underwood's Latest Opry Appearance
No matter the performance or appearance, the American Idol alum Carrie Underwood never misses, and her most recent slay left fans with a lot to say.
The "Ghost Story" singer graced the stage at Nashville's iconic venue, the Grand Ole Opry, yet again. Earlier this year, Carrie had us all doing double takes as she stunned in an ethereal, purple gown during a performance to honor Patty Loveless. As part of "Opry Loves the 90s," Carrie joined other country stars to celebrate a decade that had a lasting impact on country music.
Well, if the folks over at the Opry don't mind, we'd like to pitch another idea: "Opry Loves Carrie" because her latest performance look is one for the books.
The 8-time Grammy winner shared two snapshots from the night with fans on Instagram. Her caption read, "A night at the @opry is always a great night!!! ????????????"
Carrie looked as flawless as ever in an elegant, one-shoulder gown with a golden floral print. She kept accessories to a minimum by adding large drop earrings and pulled her hair into a wavy updo. After all, you don't have to do much when your award-winning voice is taking center stage.
With a look like this one, of course, fans had lots of opinions, but the verdict was unanimous: her look is a 10/10. People flooded her post with sweet messages like:
"What a dress! ??"
"You always wear the most beautiful dresses at the Opry ??"
"That dress is killer!??????????"
"These dresses! Everywhere she goes!????"
The country queen first made her Opry debut shortly after winning American Idol in 2005. Three years later, she was inducted on her birthday, and she's been unstoppable ever since with multiple show stopping performances at the Tennessee landmark.
With yet another leg of her Las Vegas residency recently announced, we can just tell that 2023 is going to be one to remember. Just keep those stunning looks coming, Carrie!
