Grab your bedazzled cowboy hat and tell your 9 to 5 that come March 7, you can't be reached after hours. This is not a drill! Global icon and national treasure (in our book) Dolly Parton has been tapped as the 2022 ACM Awards host. That's enough good news to satisfy us, but it doesn't stop there. Dolly has also been announced as a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee.

The 57th Academy of Country Music Awards is going to be one for the books. As the 1978 Entertainer of the Year and previous host in 2000, Dolly's return to the stage as the night's host has fans in a frenzy.

Both Dolly and the ACM Awards announced the exciting news on Instagram. Fans reacted by commenting, "This is gonna be the best show ever!!" "Best news EVER????," and "This is huge!! So excited ??."

The award show's account even wished the country queen a happy birthday with some throwback photos of Dolly's iconic looks throughout the years. Let's just say the "Jolene" singer doesn't disappoint when it comes to show-stopping outfits, and we can't wait to see what she wears as the hostess with the mostest.

Right around the same time Dolly's hosting news was announced, fans were excited to learn that the "9 to 5" singer has been nominated for the 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, one of music's most prestigious institutions. If you're anything like us, you're probably thinking "Well, what took them so long?!"

In order to be tapped for the position, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame takes into consideration the artist's influence on music, length of their career, depth of their music, innovation, style, and technique. Dolly checks all the boxes if you ask us!

Although, Dolly is more than enough entertainment for the night, ACM Awards recently made a huge announcement about who will be helping the singer out with hosting duties. According to People, award-winning artists Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett will be the show's co-hosts. Jimmie, who previously won male artist of the year and Gabby, who took home the title of new female artist of the year, have received breakout success in the recent years. CEO of the Academy of Country Music, Damon Whiteside, simply put it as "pairing two of today's most exciting new artists in the genre with one of the world's most beloved music icons."

How to Watch the 2022 ACM Awards
