Fans Praise 'Jeopardy's Latest Episode as 'Best Game Ever'

Jeopardy! viewers are still reeling from Wednesday night's episode, which ended in a super tight Final Jeopardy round that fans are calling one of the most intense games in the show's history.

It went down during the latest edition of the Second Chance competition, when players Jake Garret, Sam Claussen and Juveria Zaheer faced off in what ended up being a complete nail-biter.

The action-packed game was already off to crazy start in the Jeopardy! round when Sam lead the scoreboard with $10,400, while Jake and Juveria had $3,400 and $5,600, respectively, as they headed into Double Jeopardy.

During that round is when things began to get wild, as Juveria hit a Daily Double and wagered her entire $15,000 to make it a true Daily Double. After coming up with the correct answer, she wound up with $30,400.

By the time Final Jeaoprdy rolled around, Juveria had a whopping $32,400, while Sam had $18,000 and Jake had $17,900.

Both Jake and Sam nailed the Final Jeopardy round, and they each happened to make some significant wagers, with Jake doubling his money to $17,900 and Sam doubling his to $36,000.

It then all came down to Juveria, who only wagered $4,000, which wouldn't be enough to win if she got the answer wrong—but lucky for her, she was right.

She ended up taking home the victory with $36,400.

Viewers at home were left on the edge of their seats by the end of Wednesday's game, with many of them taking to social media to express the episode's crazy turn of events.

"Absolutely insane game," one person wrote on Reddit, while another joked, "I feel like I just watched peak Muhammad Ali vs. peak Mike Tyson vs. peak Rocky Marciano."

"I need a cigarette now. What a game," another viewer quipped.

Someone else said Wednesday's episode "might be on of the best games ever played!" while another dubbed the game, "A good old-fashioned slugfest."
