How Fans Really Feel about Everett’s Relationship with the Truth on DAYS

For the last month or so, Days of Our Lives fans have weighed in on Everett Lynch and his other identity, Bobby Stein on social media. Lynch is the editor-in-chief of The Spectator, the one who romanced Stephanie Johnson in Seattle and then promptly ended up in a coma after a car hit him. Then there’s Stein, who is apparently, Jada Hunter’s cheating, no-good, ex-husband.

Everett Lynch or Bobby Stein? Who Wants to Know?

In the Wednesday, March 6 episode of DAYS, Marlena (Deidre Hall, who once helped out friend Jane Elliot) referenced a file Jada sent her. And Everett’s (Blake Berris) name, Robert Everett Stein, was written on it. His mother’s surname was Lynch. So, the elements of his two identities are now explained. On X/Formerly Twitter, fans aren’t clear whether the journalist is a lying liar who lies, is a twin, suffers from DID, or simply has amnesia (Soap Hub has addressed this before). But they do have their opinions.

Luna B thinks it’ll be more interesting if “Bobby/Everett is a bad guy. That he did all this intentionally.” Apparently, she wants the opportunity for two besties he individually lied to, to rise and defeat Lynch, Stein, or whatever you want to call him. “I just want Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Jada (Elia Cantu) to team up so badly, lol #DAYS.”

This next theory is totally the opposite of being intentional. @GeneralStar489 feels “Everett/Bobby has some sort of DID thing going on and the Amnesia caused the Everett side to have full control…” They compare Everett’s situation to the one Edward Norton’s character goes through in the movie Primal Fear, saying, “If you’ve seen it you’ll get the reference #Days.”

@Yankeefan2975 might be all of us — not quite sure what’s going on with this guy. “Everett is really good at gaslighting Jada. I do wish it was clearer whether Everett is a twin or something else. #Days”

Meanwhile, Teresa Hazel’s got jokes saying, “Oh Everett/Bobby/Whatever. If only you knew someone who was an investigative journalist & could research who [you] really are. #Days #DOOL”

Everett’s unexpected interaction with Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) has fans like @aoii92 thinking about even more theories. “Knowing this show, whatever is in that time capsule, will be connected to Everett #Days.”

Overall, DAYS X/Twitter knows something is up with Everett. @JennFischetto wants “Everett to be psycho crazy. Pretty please, #days!”

Finally, @JoeisCool1981 is simply hoping “Chad (Billy Flynn) keeps calling Everett “Bobby” just to bother him LOL #Days”
