Fans Rejoice As OREO Reveals Return of Festive Limited-Edition Flavor

It may still be spooky season, but OREO is about to have fans rushing to welcome the wintertime.
The beloved cookie brand delivered an early gift to fans this week while announcing the return of a beloved limited-edition flavor that hasn't graced shelves in years: the Hot Cocoa OREOS.
The news was confirmed by OREO on social media this week, as the sandwich cookie makers insisted, "can't make a hot cocoa bar without OREO Hot Cocoa back on shelves NOW!"

Internet snack aficionado, @markie_devo, helped share the exciting news on Instagram, letting fans know that the limited-edition flavor is back in stores nationwide for a limited time.
"Hot Cocoa OREO's feature hot cocoa and marshmallow flavored creme sandwiched between two crisp chocolate cookie wafers," the snack food influencer wrote, while including a glimpse at the festive holiday packaging.
The cozy flavor initially debuted in 2017, and hasn't been back on shelves since, according to All Recipes. But after a five-year hiatus, fans are ready to curl up with the returning tasty treats this holiday season.
"NEED THESE," one person wrote in response to OREO's announcement on X (formerly Twitter).
"immediately yes," another excited fan added.
"Hot cocoa bars without OREO Hot Cocoa are like ghosts without a boo! Spooky and not quite as enjoyable!" someone else quipped.
But some consumers are already having trouble getting their hands on the limited-edition flavor, including one person on X who claimed they haven't been able to find any Hot Cocoa OREOs in their area.
"You can try larger retailers like Walmart or Target!" the brand wrote in response, while adding in a follow-up message, "They're making their way to shelves as we speak, so keep an eye out!"
