Fans Have Strong Reactions to North West Eating an Onion Like an Apple
Kim Kardashian, North West
From the looks of it, North West has no problem consuming her necessary serving of daily vegetables—something that may be hard for other kids of her age (or anyone, for that matter).
The 10-year-old celebrity daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian recently gave a peek at how she eats certain foods, appearing on the latest episode of her family's Hulu reality series The Kardashians biting into a raw, unpeeled onion.
While in the kitchen chatting with her mom, she grabbed the onion and started crunching into it. "Can you eat it like that?" the SKIMS owner asked.
"You want some?" North offered, to which Kim promptly responded, "No, thanks."
"This is what she does, people, she eats veggies like apples," the mom-of-four then noted.

The moment evoked plenty of opinions across the internet, as viewers took to social media with their thoughts on the matter.
"North West eating an onion like it’s a Granny Smith Apple is so unhinged and on brand," one joked, while another said, "North West eating a raw onion like an apple makes her the scariest person alive," in part.
She has even already been dubbed a "little icon," as one X (formerly Twitter) user wrote, "North West eats onions like apples. If that doesn’t explain everything about her as a kid…. lol. A little icon."
"NorthWest eating a raw onion like an apple is wild lol I know she healthy af though. No inflammation in her system I bet," someone else noticed.

And, actually, they may be onto something, as there have been many health benefits associated with eating onions.
According to WebMD, the antibacterial vegetables are rich in chemicals that can help protect your heart and lower your risk of some cancers, even noting that "one study found that people who ate the most onions were the least likely to have cancer of the colon, throat, and ovaries." Additionally, "research shows that one particular antioxidant, called quercetin, protects health in several ways, such as fighting inflammation and boosting the immune system."
North may have previously opened up about wanting to become an artist and a rapper in the future, among other things, but she's clearly well on her way to becoming the next wellness expert by providing us with major health inspo, too!
