Fantastic Four Suits Revealed in New Concept Art

With The Fantastic Four cast now in the open, fresh details are emerging about the film.

Rumors suggest Marvel’s The Fantastic Four reboot, its first to take place in the MCU, is set in 1963. The evidence for that lies in the concept art itself, posted by Marvel on Valentines Day.

Zooming into the left of the image, The Thing is reading a copy of Life Magazine. The specific issue resembles the copy of the magazine released December 13, 1963, which features President Lyndon B. Johnson on the cover.

The time period is backed up by a very ‘60s-looking logo, which replaces the previous one resembling a crisscross of blue light in the shape of a '4'.

Marvel’s even changed its own logo, rendering it in light and dark blue reminiscent of the classic Fantastic Four color scheme (shown at the bottom of the image).

The ‘60s setting adheres to The Fantastic Four’s 1961 comic book origins, in which the characters developed their powers after an accident in space with cosmic radiation.

It might be the film follows America’s Space Race with Russia, and The Fantastic Four are part of NASA's astronaut programme.

The Fantastic Four is set for a July 25, 2025 release date.

And regarding the Fantastic Four's key villain? Captain Marvel actor Ben Mendelsohn wants to play Doctor Doom.
